The transformation sweeping through the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) under the leadership of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed has now been immortalised in a new book titled The Echoes of Time.
Authored by renowned road safety expert, academic and author, CRC Julius E. Bassey, PhD, the publication was formally presented to the Corps Marshal in what many observers described as a powerful recognition of a leadership era marked by bold reforms and unprecedented achievements.
The book chronicles the sweeping changes and landmark milestones recorded within just two years of Shehu Mohammed’s administration, painting a vivid picture of a Corps undergoing rapid modernization and institutional rebirth.
Among the major achievements highlighted in the publication are historic staff promotions, strengthened enforcement operations across the country, aggressive digitalisation of operational systems, improved stakeholder engagement and enhanced welfare packages for personnel, reforms that have reportedly boosted morale and operational efficiency within the Corps.
Receiving the book, the Corps Marshal described The Echoes of Time as more than just a publication, calling it “a historical account of purposeful leadership and institutional reforms” within the FRSC.
Beyond the operational milestones, the book also shines a spotlight on the activities and contributions of the Road Safety Officers’ Wives Association, while featuring glowing commendations and reflections from notable Nigerians who praised the leadership style, vision and achievements of the Corps Marshal.
Industry watchers say the publication further reinforces the growing perception of the FRSC as one of the country’s most reform-driven public institutions under the current administration.
For many within and outside the Corps, The Echoes of Time is not just a book, it is being seen as a bold documentation of an era that may redefine the future of road safety administration in Nigeria.
