Abuja is about to witness the arrival of a pickup that could shake up Nigeria’s rugged-vehicle market.
From September 22 to 24, Jetour Nigeria will take its high-profile Jetour Experience showcase to the Federal Capital Territory, putting the highly anticipated RELY R8 premium heavy-duty pickup before motorists, fleet operators, business owners and automotive enthusiasts.
Following the impressive reception of the Lagos showcase, the Abuja edition is expected to attract government officials, corporate executives, fleet operators, construction and logistics operators, security businesses and the motoring media.
And at the centre of the excitement is the RELY R8, a machine designed to blur the line between a tough commercial workhorse and a sophisticated luxury SUV.
Built for agriculture, construction, logistics and security operations, the R8 is engineered for demanding conditions while giving occupants a level of comfort rarely associated with heavy-duty pickups.
Its arsenal includes high ground clearance, a reinforced chassis and an All-Terrain Management System offering dedicated modes for mud, sand and asphalt. That means the R8 is designed to move from harsh worksites to recreational adventures without losing its composure.
Inside, the transformation continues. The five-seat cabin delivers SUV-inspired comfort, while a high-performance smart cockpit brings advanced technology to the driver’s fingertips. Features include Level 2+ intelligent driving assistance, a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and remote engine-start functionality.
Jetour is also strengthening its ownership proposition with seven accredited dealerships nationwide, including Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era AutoVehicle Services, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos, R.T. Briscoe Motors and Mandilas Motors.
Customers are promised manufacturer warranty protection, genuine spare parts and authorised service facilities.
The brand’s rapid rise has already earned industry recognition. Jetour was recently named Fastest Growing Auto Brand of the Year by the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association, while its Dashing model won Car of the Year at the NAJA International Auto Awards.
