Stallion Motors Bags Motoring World’s Prestigious Legacy Auto Investment Award

Leading automotive company, Stallion Motors Limited, has clinched the coveted Motoring World’s Legacy Auto Investment Award in recognition of its enduring contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria’s automotive industry.

The prestigious honour was presented at the grand 30th Anniversary Celebration of Motoring World Communications Limited, held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the prestigious MUSON Centre in Lagos, where key industry leaders, policymakers and stakeholders gathered to celebrate three decades of automotive journalism excellence.

Receiving the award on behalf of Stallion Motors, Executive Director of Stallion Group, Dr. Harpreet Singh, expressed profound appreciation and described the recognition as a testament to the company’s long-standing commitment to Nigeria’s automotive sector.

Speaking shortly after receiving the award from former Corps Marshal of the FRSC and President/Chairman of Council of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Nigeria, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, Singh paid glowing tribute to the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Motoring World Communications Limited, Mr. Femi Owoeye, for creating a platform that has united stakeholders across the automotive value chain.

“One thing I would like to say about Owoeye is that the way he has brought all of us together is remarkable. We are the followers, and he is the thread at the nexus connecting every one of us. But it is much more than that. This initiative that you started is highly commendable. Thank you for creating this important platform for the country,” Singh said.

Earlier in his welcome address, Owoeye disclosed that recipients of the anniversary honours were selected based on their exceptional contributions to the advancement of Nigeria’s automotive industry.

He also unveiled an ambitious Automotive Journalism Development Programme, designed to groom the next generation of automotive journalists and deepen professionalism, industry knowledge and developmental reporting within the sector.

According to Owoeye, Motoring World, which has spent three decades reporting, advocating and championing the interests of the automotive industry, remains committed to serving as a strategic catalyst for the sector’s growth.

“The Nigerian automotive industry stands today at a defining moment. The opportunities before us are enormous — from local vehicle manufacturing and skills development to technology transfer, electric mobility, road safety, logistics and transportation reforms,” he stated.

He stressed that unlocking the sector’s full potential would require stronger stakeholder collaboration, policy consistency, increased investments and more effective communication across the automotive value chain.

The veteran automotive journalist also announced that Motoring World would intensify advocacy for policies that promote local vehicle production, industrialisation, technology transfer, road safety and sustainable mobility.

In another major announcement that drew applause from stakeholders, Owoeye revealed that Motoring World would resume full quarterly publication of its print magazine, following sustained encouragement and support from industry players nationwide.

“This decision reflects our confidence in the future of Nigeria’s automotive industry and our commitment to providing stakeholders with a credible and authoritative platform dedicated exclusively to automotive and mobility issues,” he said.

Reflecting on the publication’s remarkable 30-year journey, Owoeye expressed gratitude to industry leaders, partners, advertisers, readers and numerous stakeholders whose support sustained the organisation through challenging periods.

He described the anniversary celebration as a moment of thanksgiving, reflection, celebration and renewed commitment to the future of Nigeria’s automotive industry.

“Today, we celebrate thirty years of resilience, thirty years of service, thirty years of partnership and thirty years of unwavering commitment to the advancement of Nigeria’s automotive industry,” he declared.
