Jetour Nigeria is stepping up its national expansion drive with the all-new T1 adventure SUV, following a strong reception at its Lagos debut.
The Chinese automotive brand will take the T1 to the nation’s capital from September 22 to 24, 2026, for the three-day Jetour Experience Abuja, targeting SUV buyers, motoring enthusiasts and adventure seekers.
The event, holding at Maha Event Centre, Area 8, Garki, Abuja, will feature vehicle demonstrations, expert-led technical sessions and hands-on test drives, giving potential customers an opportunity to experience the T1 beyond the showroom.
Jetour Nigeria said the decision to bring the experience to Abuja was driven by the response to the Lagos edition, which recorded strong participation, extensive test drives and significant sales enquiries, as well as growing demand from residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
The Abuja activation comes as Jetour strengthens its presence across Nigeria through a growing nationwide dealer network.
The company currently has seven accredited dealers: Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era AutoVehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos Limited, R.T. Briscoe Motors and Mandilas Autos.
The dealers provide sales, genuine spare parts and after-sales maintenance services, giving Jetour a broader platform to support customers beyond its major launch markets.
Built for the City—and Beyond
At the centre of Jetour’s Abuja campaign is the T1, a five-seater SUV engineered to bridge the gap between urban driving and off-road adventure.
Measuring 4,705mm long, 1,967mm wide and 1,843mm high, the T1 rides on a 2,800mm wheelbase and offers a choice of 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre turbocharged powertrains.
The 2.0-litre version delivers up to 254hp and 390Nm of torque, while the vehicle’s drivetrain employs BorgWarner XWD intelligent four-wheel drive, matched with either a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or 8-speed automatic transmission.
Its adventure credentials are further underlined by 199mm ground clearance, 600mm water-wading capability and 28-degree approach and departure angles.
Inside the cabin, the T1 brings a distinctly technology-focused experience, featuring a 15.6-inch HD touchscreen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 platform and an eight-speaker audio system.
The five-seat interior provides 574 litres of rear luggage capacity, while an 85 per cent high-strength steel chassis is designed to provide enhanced structural protection.
Safety technology is another major selling point, with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
Jetour’s Nigerian expansion has also been accompanied by industry recognition, with the brand securing awards including Fastest Growing Auto Brand of the Year and Auto Brand of the Year.
With the T1 now moving from Lagos to Abuja, Jetour is using direct customer experiences and an expanding dealer network to deepen its presence in Nigeria’s increasingly competitive SUV market.
