Jaguar’s fastest and most powerful F-Type to date, the SVR, will be shown for the first time in South Africa.
Boasting a supercharged V8 producing 423kW and 700Nm, this snarling cat makes its presence known through a bespoke Inconel and titanium exhaust system. Flat out, it will reach a top speed of 322km/h.
“Land Rover’s first-ever convertible will also make its debut for the crowds at SAFM,” JLR announced in a statement on Monday. “Combining capability with desirability, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible is a convertible for all seasons,
“It offers unparalleled practicality in a convertible car, through excellent interior space and Land Rover’s suite of proven off-road technologies. Inside, it has all the amenities and technologies modern drivers want.”
In addition to seeing the new arrival at the Jaguar Land Rover stand, show goers will also have opportunities to experience products first-hand. The Land Rover Experience team will host off-road driving experiences in a number of Land Rover products, while Jaguar Experience instructors will be on hand for thrilling, high-speed laps around the new Kyalami track, in a Jaguar F-TYPE, Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF.
