Big-Name Stars to Make Debuts at the 2017 London Motor Show

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ondon Motor Show 2017 is set to hand UK debuts to the most exciting new models around and also host a world debut when the industry’s eyes turn to Battersea Evolution in the spring.

Lamborghini Aventador S

After a hugely successful opening year in 2016, The Confused.com London Motor Show has been billed as one of the hottest events on the automotive calendar, and it has the stars in its armoury to live up to the hype.

From 4-7 May 2017, over 130 new cars will descend on the English capital – including one that will be taking its initial bow. British coachbuilder David Brown Automotive’s latest creation – the Mini Remastered – will make its world debut at The Confused.com London Motor Show.

The highly exclusive Mini Remastered is based on a classic Mini and is reborn into a city car for modern living. It boasts a reconditioned 1,275cc 78bhp engine and a four-speed gearbox, whilst the chassis and body panels are brand new and de-seamed to provide perfect shutlines.

Alpine’s eagerly anticipated A110 is making its UK debut at Battersea Evolution, fresh off the back of an impressive initial reveal at the recent Geneva Motor Show.

Nissan Micra

Resurrecting the name and spirit of Alpine’s Berlinette model for the Sixties and Seventies, the French brand’s latest production car is designed to reflect the “timeless principles of compact size, light weight and agility”.

It features a full aluminium platform and upper body that make the car aerodynamic enough to not require a rear wing. The result is a flowing, elegant body that’s sure to turn plenty of heads at The Confused.com London Motor Show.

Leading luxury dealer group H.R. Owen is one of the biggest names at the event this year, and it’s pulling out all the stops to ensure its display in London lives long in the memory of British car enthusiasts and beyond.

One of the main attractions of the H.R. Owen stand will be the Lamborghini Aventador S, which – like the Alpine A110 – made quite an impact in Geneva in March.

The Aventador S is a more powerful and focused version of the venerable Aventador that’s packing a whopping 730bhp – 40bhp more than the original model. It has a slightly more aggressive front end, too, adding even more drama to the car’s ferocious image.

Elsewhere, Kahn Design – the discriminating purveyor of the world’s most accomplished supercars and bespoke vehicles integrating luxury, style and performance – also has a UK debut at Battersea Evolution. The coach-built Vengeance Volante, which is based on the Aston Martin DB9, was recently unveiled in Geneva and set for another strong showing in London.

Plus, Ancaster Group will be displaying the all-new Nissan Micra for the first time in the UK. The hatchback is a hugely important model for Nissan, and Ancaster’s model will draw plenty of attention from families at the show.

Alec Mumford, Chairman of The Confused.com London Motor Show, said: “We are hugely excited to host such amazing models for their UK debuts at The Confused.com London Motor Show. By displaying these cars for the first time, we are proving just how big an event this is. It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the automotive calendar and thanks to over 130 new cars being showcased, it will more than fit the bill.”
