In a bold show of corporate commitment to public safety, Mikano International Limited has boosted Lagos State’s security architecture with the donation of 10 fully operational vehicles to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
The high-profile handover ceremony held at Mikano International’s headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, saw the vehicles formally presented by the National Operations Manager of Mikano Motors, Mr. Syam Abdulkadir, reinforcing the company’s support for frontline security operations across the state.
Receiving the fleet on behalf of the Lagos State Government, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, commended Mikano for stepping up at a critical time, stressing that strong public-private partnerships remain vital to strengthening security infrastructure and rapid response capabilities in Africa’s most populous city.
Both organisations underscored the impact of private sector intervention in sustaining effective security operations, particularly in a dynamic megacity like Lagos where mobility is key.
The event was attended by key LSSTF officials, including the Admin Director, Mr. Adegbola Lewis; Executive Assistant, Mrs. Adaobi Nwankwo; and Mikano Motors’ Showroom Manager, Mrs. Grace Chinyere Anasiudu, adding weight to a gesture widely seen as a timely boost to Lagos’ security drive.
