OJO OLOTU
ABUJA is bracing for a three-day motoring invasion as Jetour Nigeria rolls its fast-rising Jetour X50 into the Federal Capital Territory, promising motorists an action-packed encounter with one of the country’s increasingly popular compact SUVs.
From September 22 to 24, 2026, the Jetour Experience Abuja is expected to turn the spotlight firmly on the X50, following the strong reception generated by the brand’s recent Lagos activation.
But this is no ordinary motor show.
Jetour is taking the experience directly to motorists with test drives, live stage plays, interactive games and face-to-face sessions with automotive specialists, giving prospective buyers an opportunity to see, touch and drive the vehicle before making their purchasing decisions.
Behind the Abuja push is Jetour Nigeria’s expanding authorised dealer network, comprising Elizade Nigeria Limited, Mandilas Autos, Germaine Auto Centre, Kojo Motors, R.T. Briscoe, Tab Autos and New Era AutoVehicle Services. The network is strengthening the brand’s footprint while providing customers with sales, after-sales support, genuine spare parts and certified technical services.
At the heart of the spectacle is the Jetour X50, a compact SUV designed to combine sporty performance, contemporary styling and a technology-loaded interior.
Under its bonnet is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine matched with a dual-clutch transmission, giving the X50 the performance credentials to challenge rivals in Nigeria’s fiercely contested compact SUV market.
Its technology arsenal includes a 360-degree camera, Blind Spot Detection, 10.5-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and leather upholstery.
Jetour’s proposition is clear: deliver a premium-feeling motoring experience without pushing the vehicle beyond competitive price territory.
The Abuja activation also comes as Jetour accelerates its Nigerian expansion, buoyed by industry recognition that includes Fastest Growing Auto Brand and Auto Brand of the Year awards.
With its dealer network spreading across the country, Jetour is betting that bringing the vehicles closer to motorists—and allowing them to actually drive them—will convert growing curiosity into stronger customer loyalty and sales.
For Abuja motorists, the countdown has begun.
From September 22 to 24, the Jetour X50 will not merely be on display—it will be waiting to be driven.
