In a bold move aimed at winning over Nigerian motorists still wary of hybrid and electric vehicle ownership, Jetour Nigeria has rolled out an aggressive customer assurance package for its X70 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), anchored on a five-year warranty and a nationwide after-sales support network.
The strategy signals the brand’s determination to remove one of the biggest barriers to the adoption of electrified vehicles in Nigeria, concerns over maintenance, reliability and technical support.
Jetour says owners of the X70 PHEV will enjoy comprehensive after-sales backing, including access to genuine spare parts, trained technicians and dedicated technical support services throughout the vehicle’s ownership cycle.

In what industry observers describe as a strong vote of confidence in its product quality, Jetour is backing the X70 PHEV with a five-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty package, one of the most competitive support offerings in Nigeria’s fast-growing hybrid vehicle segment.
The company is also tackling concerns over charging infrastructure head-on. The X70 PHEV features four charging options, fast charging, slow charging, engine charging and regenerative brake charging, allowing owners to maintain battery performance even in areas with limited charging facilities.
Under the hood, the SUV combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with advanced plug-in hybrid technology, a 19.43kWh battery pack and dedicated hybrid transmissions. According to Jetour, the system delivers improved fuel economy, reduced emissions and dependable long-term performance.
