Nigerian Auto Journalists Association Holds Election Friday, as Campaign Heats up

Nigerian Auto Journalists Association(NAJA) has slated Friday, 18th February for the Election of officers, who would run the affairs of the union for another three years.

Contestants for the Chairmanship position are Julie ChiNwuoha, Publisher of ONTHEHIGHWAY magazine and the outgoing Chairman, Mike Ochonma, who writes for Business AM Newspaper.

While in his manifesto, Ochonma focuses on his regime’s achievements and appeal for continuity and consolidation, Mrs. Nwuoha encapsulates her manifesto in an acronym known as ACE (Accountability, Credibility and Equity).

Other contestants with their hats on the ring are Tajudeen Adebanjo, Vice Chairman; Daphny Oduneje and Segun Odunewu, Financial Secretary/Treasurer and Anthony Awunor, General Secretary.

Nigerian Auto Journalists Association is a union of automotive and road transport newsmen from the nation’s print, broadcast and digital media.
