Eagle Square shook with speed and spectacle on 29 March as Tinubu’s Turbo Fest 2026 tore into Nigeria’s automotive scene, proving that motorsport isn’t just about thrill, it’s a ticket to innovation, jobs, and national growth.
Organized by Naija Autosports in collaboration with the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), the festival roared with high-speed precision, attracting investors, dignitaries, and automotive heavyweights-all eyes on Nigeria’s emerging motorsport powerhouse.
NADDC Director-General Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin stressed that motorsport is more than racing. “It’s a launchpad for technology, youth empowerment, and industrial growth,” he declared, urging structured investment and regulation to turn adrenaline into economic impact.
Beyond the tracks, the festival showcased opportunities for tourism, employment, and industrial development, cementing Nigeria’s readiness to compete on a global stage. Symbolically celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s birthday, Turbo Fest 2026 aligned with his vision of a modern, innovative Nigeria fueled by youthful energy, discipline, and ambition.
The message was loud and clear: Nigeria is shifting gears. Motorsport isn’t just entertainment. It’s the nation’s fast track to economic transformation.
