NADDC to Partner Afrexim on Nnewi Auto Industrial Park

The Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Mr Joseph Osanipin, on Thursday visited the Regional Chief Operating Officer of the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim), Mr. Eric Intong.

The purpose of the visit was to solicit for collaboration with the Afrexim Bank in financing Council projects, especially the Nnewi Auto Industrial Park.

At the meeting, Mr Osanipin highlighted the significance of the Nnewi Auto Industrial park describing it as a new solution to the challenges confronting component parts manufacturers in Nigeria which will also invigorate the Automotive Sector and propel Nigeria towards a future of enhanced Job creation and economic prosperity.

The Regional Chief Operating Officer expressed his enthusiasm in kick-starting the Nnewi Auto Industrial Park and also assured of Afrexim Bank readiness for productive partnership with the Council.
