Danger: Why Elon Musk Isn’t Riding His Cybertruck

By Tony Marsh

Because he knows he may not get where he’s going.

I am so glad the trucks are deemed too unsafe to be allowed on UK or European roads. They are ugly and heavy. They are prone to catch fire. The electric steering has no mechanical back-up so should it lose power there is no steering. If it should catch fire and power is lost, you can’t get out because the doors are electric. (3 teenagers died purely because they couldn’t get out in November) Would you take your kids in a literal death trap? The suspension components aren’t strong enough for the weight and they let in water when it rains, or should you go through a car wash. (Water and Electrics don’t go well together). Ex NASA engineer, Mark Robers You-tube investigation might help explain why 51 people have already been killed by Autopilot. They’ve discontinued deliveries and recalled 46,000 trucks because NINE FOOT LONG sheets of stainless steel are breaking free at freeway speeds due to the GLUE failing on front and rear panels. This is after the recall for doors falling off. Now Musk is in charge of the very departments probing the safety of a number of features on Tesla Cars as well as accounting practices. No doubt he will quash the investigations, but when will he stop and take responsibility??

In Europe and the UK, independent organisations test and approve vehicles for conformity before they are allowed on the road. In the USA, NHTSA has guidelines for conformity, but any testing is carried out by the vehicle manufacturer. Musk has shown us he can’t be trusted with rules and regulations.
Tesla has a reputation for greed, unreliability, low build quality and total disregard for human life. Tesla stock is in freefall and can never come back because back in 2004 there was no competition and their marketing was good. Now all the real car manufacturers have better built, safer or cheaper options while Tesla makes the same old stuff. Musk listed the business as a tech company explaining the insanely high stock prices compared with other vehicle manufacturers. But this relies wholly on demand for shares rather than profitability or operational excellence, and as unsold vehicle stockpiling is about to cause layoffs and fire sale price cuts the next six months will get way worse for share prices and can only stop when Musk is gone and a complete new vehicle line-up is announced. Vaibav Taneja, Chief Financial Officer at Tesla and other main board members are dumping their stock.
They know.
