Nigeria’s automotive powerhouse, Coscharis Motors Plc, is set to make a bold statement at the upcoming West Africa Auto Show 2026, with a strong spotlight on locally manufactured ABRO cello tapes produced in Nigeria.
The three-day auto exhibition, billed for May 12–14, 2026 at the Landmark Event Centre, will see Coscharis Motors, through its Auto Care/Consumer Products Division, parade a wide range of products while pushing its growing commitment to local manufacturing and industrial value addition.
At the heart of the company’s showcase will be the Made-in-Nigeria ABRO cello tapes produced by its subsidiary, Coscharis AIPL Abro Industries Ltd, a move seen as a major endorsement of the Federal Government’s local content drive and Nigeria’s industrialisation agenda.
According to the company, the local production initiative is helping to deepen indigenous manufacturing capacity, improve product availability and reinforce consumer confidence in quality products proudly made in Nigeria.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition, General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Coscharis Group, Abiona Babarinde, described the initiative as part of the company’s strategy of blending global standards with local relevance.
Beyond the products on display, he said visitors to the Coscharis stand will also have access to genuine OEM parts across multiple brands, backed by certified technicians ready to offer expert guidance and professional recommendations.
Also speaking, Head, Auto Care/Consumer Products Division, Coscharis Motors Plc, Dr. Obuzor Uzordinma, said the exhibition would further reinforce Coscharis’ leadership in the auto care and component parts segment.
He noted that the company’s participation at WAAS 2026 would not only showcase its expanding product portfolio, but also create opportunities for strategic collaborations within the auto parts and auto care ecosystem.
