In a dazzling fusion of creativity, ambition, and life-changing opportunity, Mikano Motors has set the creative industry ablaze with the grand finale of its Mikano Changan Creators Challenge, a bold initiative redefining how brands reward talent in Nigeria’s booming digital space.
Held at the buzzing Mikano Motors showroom in Victoria Island, Lagos, the electrifying finale drew an elite mix of company executives, top-tier content creators, media influencers, and industry heavyweights. But this was no ordinary contest. It was a high-stakes celebration of originality where creativity met real reward.
Designed to spotlight Nigeria’s rising digital stars, the challenge pushed participants to craft compelling, high-impact content around Mikano’s Changan vehicles. And they delivered, transforming everyday concepts into captivating storytelling that lit up screens and captured attention nationwide.
After weeks of intense competition and a meticulous judging process led by an all-star panel including Bovi Ugboma, Doris Ogah, Chioma Ude, Joelle Haykal (represented by Syam Abdul Kadir), and Oluseyi Asurf Amuwa, one name rose above the rest-Chibundu Victor Chisom.

In a jaw-dropping moment, he was crowned overall winner, driving home a brand new Mikano Changan CS35 SUV valued at ₦40 million, complete with a six-year warranty and nationwide after-sales support. A prize not just of luxury, but of long-term value and status.
The rewards didn’t stop there. Princess Tony Jessica Omusuku secured the first runner-up spot with a cool ₦3 million, while Oluwamayowa Philip clinched ₦1.5 million as second runner-up. Other standout finalists each walked away with ₦500,000, cementing their place among Nigeria’s creative elite.
Beyond the prizes, the event doubled as a powerhouse knowledge hub. A high-impact panel session featuring industry leaders unpacked the future of digital content, emphasizing one clear truth, creativity thrives when it’s backed by real investment and opportunity.

The night sparkled even brighter with appearances from entertainment stars like Jemima Osunde, KieKie, Rita Dominic, and Patrick the Bassist, symbolising the powerful community shaping Nigeria’s creative future.
Speaking at the event, Syam Abdul Kadir, National Head of Operations at Mikano Motors, reinforced the brand’s bold vision: empowering creators, unlocking potential, and building platforms that turn talent into tangible success.
For Chibundu, the victory is more than a prize. It’s a defining leap forward. For the industry, it’s proof that when creativity meets opportunity, transformation is inevitable.
And for Mikano Motors? This is just the beginning.
The message is loud, clear, and impossible to ignore: Nigeria’s creative economy isn’t just rising. It’s roaring.
