The Jaguar: A Name for Unique Brands

EFULA ABBAH

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]egendary writer extraordinaire, William Shakespeare, once asked, what is in a name? And several respondents had over time drawn over board the spell factor, which trails a name, in their answers.

A name, it is said, is just an identity. But experience will sure dispute it as careless, redundant and irresponsive to the reality in bearing a name.

A name should not be mistaken to mere sobriquet, or a guying nickname which is often in ghetto life styles, professional circle or just for the fun of it.

The Kenya Jaguar is a talented frontline musician in Nairobi, Kenya and his name ‘Jaguar’ is sure selling both his voice and lyrical content, which makes him a foremost Artiste in East Africa and indeed, the rest of the continent.

That is the Jaguar as a waxing strong man.

But, as a luxury that comforts both man and road, there is the British auto brand called Jaguar, a product of Jaguar LandRover (JLR), manufacturers of both the enigmatic strong and reliable Land Rover SUVs and the Jaguar luxury vehicles.

Jaguar automotive brand is not only a pride of Britain. Every Jaguar model makes its British multinational car manufacturer so proud to be in business, just like the Jaguar Kenya is giving his Excellency, Uhuru Kenyatta so much joy to identify with.

With its headquarters in Whitley, Coventry, England, Jaguar Land Rover has remained in the forefront of the best cars ever produced and driven by man. For instance, almost all auto makers now make Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV). But Jaguar did not just join the crowed, it came up with a car that combines unique characters of its existing legendary sports and luxury models. It’s called Jaguar F-Pace.

Motoring World’s Editor-in-chief, Femi Owoeye, is in South Africa to attend the ongoing SA Festival of Motoring. But, according to him, beyond the event’s venue, he yesterday test-drove the F-Pace on and off-road, visiting a place called “The Cradle of mankind”.

Do watch out for the test-drive report, as Motoring World International proudly offers you the natural compatibility in Jaguar Kenya (the high flying musician) and the strong, reliable and indeed, the motoring pride called Jaguar (from the stable of JLR) for your sumptuous weekend delight.
