Mercedes-Benz Opens Doors to Public for Art Portrait Exhibition in Lagos

[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n Saturday, 26th November, 2016, Friends, families and art enthusiasts trooped into the Mercedes-Benz center for the opening reception of an art exhibition by Tayo Ayelowo, themed “Standing with the Kings”.

The showroom was transformed to an art gallery for portrait paintings of various traditional rulers in Nigeria, thus illustrating creativity in its most scintillating form.

In a statement released by Weststar, members of the public were encouraged  to visit the event and watch what was described as exemplary-royal-leaders-come-to-life.

Beyond the arts exhibition, motoring public and families are also invited to tour around classic cars on display throuhout the two weeks of the art exhibition.

“The arts exhibition,” the statement announced, “is set to hold from 26th November to 12th December, 2016.”

The event’s venue, Mercedes-Benz Centre, is located at Gottlieb Daimler road, Ikate (third roundabout from the 1st toll gate) Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.
