[dropcap]J[/dropcap]AC S2, an exclusive model from the stable of Chinese leading indigenous auto automotive brand, JAC, has been awarded Best auto design of the year.
The award was announced and presented at the XCAR China Brands Auto Award Ceremony held in Beijin on August 5th 2016.
Themed: “China Brands, World Class Quality,”, the award ceremony was graced by many elites from the core enterprises, experts, and senior media persons of China auto industry.
As one of the highest, the most influential and the most authoritative awards events in Chinese auto industry, China Brands Annual Auto Award held for the first time 2015. To select winner for this year’s award, 29 auto brands, 7 levels and 51 new models were assessed through online voting, experts test and other program at the end of which 16 prizes were awarded.
S2 inherited JAC SUV family tradition, perfectly merging the aesthetic characteristics of Chinese consumers and the leading design concept of JAC Italy design center. S2 front face continued to use JAC unique design like the mouth of the vase, matching with LED daytime lights, which made the front face more powerful.
S2 integrated a number of high-tech configures such as 7 inch capacitance screen, man-machine intelligent voice interaction system, car audio system and so on, meeting the entertainment needs of 
the youth. In terms of controllability, S2 equipped with many intelligent configurations like CVT transmission, HAS (Hill Start Assist), ESP (Electronic Stability Program), reversing image, CCS (Cruise Control System).
On the competition in Zhangye of CRC (China Rally Championship 2016), S2, for the first time took part in the race, helping JAC team to win the first ranking in the competition of the same level in the just-concluded China automobile rally championship game, confirming the powerful dynamic performance of JAC S2.
