[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ew Chief Executive of the German luxury car maker, BMW, Harald Krueger slumped and fainted on stage, Tuesday(15th September 2015), while making presentation at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, which kicked off on Tuesday.
The incidence happened, while he was making comments about BMW latest offerings being showcased at the event.
Immediately, two men rushed to the stage, lifted him up to his feet and helped him off the stage.
A BMW spokesman revealed that Herald fainted, because he felt dizzy.
“Harald Krueger experienced a moment of
dizziness”, he explained, adding, “He has been examined by a doctor. His health is stable, and he is recovering well.”
Following the BMW CEO’s collapse, the press conference was cancelled, while the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Friedrich Eichiner took over the press roundtable.
It would be recalled that Mr. Krueger assumed the position of BMW’s CEO in May this year and made his very first major public appearance and presentation at the opening day of this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, during which he collapsed.
