Autochek Launches Digital Automotive Services for Africa

…Creates Seamless Links to Auto Finance

Autochek, an automotive technology company, has launched a website and mobile application, where customers in Nigeria and other African countries can buy, sell and fix cars, using their smart phones from the comfort of any location.

Launched recently in Lagos, Nigeria, the platform also comes with a feature via which customers can receive funding to own cars of their dreams.

Speaking during the event the company’s Vice-President (Commercial), Mayokun Fadeyibi described the Autochek’s digital platform as a reflection of his company’s commitment to providing viable solutions to some of the challenges facing the automotive industry in Nigeria and Africa.

According to her , the platform is aimed at transforming Africa automotive industry, by using technology to re –create buying, maintenance and automobile selling experience.

She explained: “AutoChek’s is poised to solve key problems affecting the automotive industry such as access to finance, after-sales support, price differences, standardization, logistics, tech solutions and even data.

“An end- to-end auto solution offering that gives the customers wide array of options from sales to maintenance and financing, Autochek is out to help the customer to make informed automotive decisions and convenience.’’

She , therefore, directed prospective automobile buyers, sellers and those in need of auto maintenance or auto finance facility to visit the AutoChek platform or download the mobile application to get started.

Also speaking, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Etop Ikpe said: ‘’We are pleased to provide a key solution to tackling some of the challenges posed by lack of auto funding in the African automotive industry.

“The company,” he said, “is poised to solve key problems affecting the automotive industry such as access to finance, after-sales support, price differences, standardization, logistics, tech solutions and even data.

“In order to establish ourselves as the future of the African automobile industry, we recently closed a $3.4 million pre-seed to boost our service delivery in the auto market.”

According to Ikpe, the newly launched digital platform comes with what he described as a ‘get pre qualified’ feature, where customers can receive funding to own the car of their dreams.

“Having gone through the pre-qualification process,” he explained, “customers can browse a personalized inventory curated just for them and enjoy installment payments on receive car loan.

“Using the Autochek Africa and the mobile application downloaded from Google, customers can lock down a car of their choice with a deposit, receive funds to own a car, get better deals for selling their cars, diagnose their cars and enjoy premium maintenance service right at their doorstep.

“Customers can also enjoy other packages put together to ensure a seamless ownership of cars, access to a wide range of brands, both brand new and used, visibility of the condition of your choice car, registration of both local and foreign used cars, access to an extensive list of car workshops in Abuja, Porthacourt, Accra and other major cities in Nigeria and West Africa.’’
