In fulfilment of its recent pledge, Stallion Group has deployed staff buses with drivers to help transportation of front-line health care workers battling Corona Virus pandemic in Lagos State of Nigeria.
The buses will be attached to the COVID-19 dedicated hospitals for the next 3 months to ensure safe and comfortable transportation of the healthcare providers at the frontline of the ongoing battle against the pandemic.
According to the Group Marketing Manager of Stallion Group, Arpita Roy Luthra, the free staff bus service along with a dedicated driver and fuelling is implemented in cooperation and close coordination with the Lagos State Government.
Also the Group’sfrontline Aids Team has commenced nationwide delivery of free Rice and Fish to COVID – 19 Hospitals, starting with in Lagos.
As revealed by Luthra, 77 State hospitals across Nigeria are already registered to benefit from the programme.
On her experience on the first day of aids delivery, Luthra explained: “It’s 7pm at Lagos, but the peace and quiet all around suggests that it could very well have been midnight. There’s no traffic, no incessant whirring and clunking.
“We have set out to deliver free Rice and Fish to the COVID – 19 Hospitals in Lagos State with the Stallion Group Team.
“The selfless people working in the frontline have risked their lives to ensure that aid reaches where it’s required the most.
“The group apart from pledging free rice and fish for three months to all COVID – 19 Hospitals, has deployed staff buses to ferry health care workers to hospitals dedicated to COVID – 19 treatment in Lagos. “
