Dana Motors Limited has concluded plans to produce 18,000 electric vehicles annually at its expanding assembly facility located in Lagos, Nigeria.
Making the announcement in a media statement made available to motoring World on Friday, the company, a long-standing leader in Nigeria’s automotive industry, described its latest move as a reinforcement of its position at the forefront of sustainable mobility and green technology adoption in the country.
“Currently undergoing a major expansion, Dana Motors’ ultra-modern assembly plant is being retooled to meet growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles, in line with global automotive trends and Nigeria’s national sustainability goals,” the statement revealed, adding, “With a strong legacy spanning over two decades, Dana Motors continues to demonstrate innovation and resilience in driving the transition to clean transportation in Africa’s largest economy.”
