What built up to a celebration last Friday started as an agreement between Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd., Japan and CFAO S.A. to establish a motorcycle manufacturing and sales company in Nigeria.

[dropcap]N [/dropcap]amed CFAO Yamaha Motor Nigeria Ltd. (CYMNG), the company officially opened to the public last Friday, but it had actually commenced assembly operation since December 2015, rolling out 1,500 motorcycles already.
On that grand opening Friday (13th May 2016), the new company’s management obviously left nothing to chances.
Motoring World’s camera lens was there, capturing the scene, from entrance to the speech making hall, cutting of tape by the Lagos governor, showroom and factory tour and press conference.
