[dropcap]T[/dropcap]oday, the greatest achievement in the auto industry is that of a car that drives itself. Google, in partnership with an auto maker has completed one, already being tested in Europe and America. There is a Mobileye partnering with Audi in Middle East. There are more. Autonomous car is here. Quite significant! But what’s most significant is the fact that a man saw this among other things about 70 years ago.
In June 1933, a man of God popularly known for his prophetic precision, told his congregation that God had shown him seven things that must happen before the end of this age. His name was Prophet William Branham. Out of the seven visions he claimed to have received from God and written down, six have come to pass. Fourth of the six is invention of a car without a driver, popularly known today as driverless or Autonomous car. Addressing his congregation on that fateful day, Prophet Branham said: “The Lord spoke to me and said that the coming of the Lord was drawing nigh. But that before He came, seven major events would transpire.”
He wrote them down and the fourth vision, happens to be the manufacture of a car without steering wheel.
In the prophesy, Branham said: “The fourth vision showed the great advances in science that would come after the Second World War. It was headed up in the vision of a plastic bubble-topped car that was running down beautiful highways under remote control so that people appeared seated in this car without a steering wheel and they were playing some sort of a game to amuse themselves.”
Out of the seven visions shown to the prophet, six, which include the emergence of a driverless car have come to pass.
What does this portend for a spiritual-minded person? It is indeed a signal to the living to acknowledge that God rules in the affairs of man.
Before airplane was invented, the Holy Scriptures already spoke about it. The same goes for automobiles, which was prophesied by prophet Nahum:“Chariots dash wildly through the streets, rushing to and fro through the city squares. They flash like torches and dart about like lightning.”
We may not know the future but there is a God who knows the end from the beginning. Nothing is hidden from him. It is, therefore, very imperative that we give consideration to all these happenings. Think about life after here and seek the God that has the power to kill and make alive. Let these things teach you a lesson. You can indeed learn a lesson from the evolvement of a car without steering wheel. I seriously doubt if scientist can go beyond a driverless car.
Let me round up with this Holy writ. “Let the fig tree teach you a lesson. When its branches become green and tender and it starts putting out leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you will know that the time is near, ready to begin. Remember that all these things will happen before the people now living have all died. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
