FRSC Boss Reiterates Commitment to Prompt Service Delivery

The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr Boboye  Oyeyemi, has reiterated its commitment to improved and prompt service delivery by the corps nationwide.

Oyeyemi said this during the management session in celebration of this year’s International Customer Service Week on Thursday in Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the theme for this year international Customer’s Service Week is “the Power of Service.”

Customer service week, which is celebrated first week in October, calls the attention of customer service and those that provide it.

Oyeyemi said that FRSC objectives for the year’s celebration, among others, is to give its customer service heroes the recognition they deserve.

He added that appreciation and encouragement of its customer for their partnership and trust should be sustained.

He also said that the corps would build on it for enhanced service delivery.

He described a good customer service as a successful tool for any organisation to remain relevant and maintain its competitive advantage over it peers.

“FRSC joins in the global appreciation of the front-line service providers, who have made the corps proud this year. I salute your courage and relentlessness in the discharge of your responsibilities.

Oyeyemi noted that the Executive Order No. 001 of 2017 on the promotion of transparency and efficiency in the business environment would subsist and remain mandatory for all MDAs to execute.

He said that the order remained compelling for quality and on-time service delivery, adding that more efforts were being made to ensure that most transactions with the corps were electronically based.

In her remarks, the National Coordinator, SERVICOM, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, applauded and celebrated FRSC for its inclination towards reform.

Akajameli commended the corps for promoting better road culture, saving lives and ensuring that the people have the standards they could operate on even while driving.
