The 2016 Paris Motor Show has come and gone, but not without delivering one of the best motor parades ever witnessed in the history of global auto shows. Motoring World International’s General Editor, EFULA ABBAH, who has followed the Mondial from day one, recaps the success story in the 14 days event.
[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t was a well graced show. Attendees from the global auto world enjoyed every bit of what the show offered, talking about bumper load of new cars and indeed revelation of future technologies embedded in the present, especially the electric cars, which observers agree stole the show completely.
But, most importantly, the show had an aroma, a sweet taste sensation, which the typical French flair gave to their wowed visitors.
But why electric cars? After all, It is not yet pace era. So these cars are supposed to be driven here on earth, not the moon or some kind of strange land. Don’t mind me, just being naïve the African way, but all the same, these cars are coded.
The general over view of the 2016 Paris Motor show gave a total package with the on-the-parade incredible concept, car launches and the euphoria that enveloped the entire show into a feistier, which indubitably made Paris 2016 one of the most exciting car shows in recent memory.
All the car models provided grand posting, which should ginger the craze for them by prospective customers any time, any day.
There was Audi Q5, a new version of Audi’s premium SUV.
BMW X2 entices the world with a concept version of BMW’s sharp coupe-SUV.
Same went for an amazing French
Citroen C3, a new and more stylish version of Citroen’s supermini , which surely displayed the French love for flair and knack, all ways interpreting the beauty in the eye of Paris and perhaps the gusto of the typical French.
Honda offered next generation look of Honda Civic and by far going to recapture hearts and minds with its deliberate sharp new look.
Hyundai i30 is Hyundai’s latest Focus and infused in it are a host of new techniques and a new family face. The world was
more than amazed at it gazing stand that almost looking seductive for by all craning eyes.
New Land Rover Discovery demonstrated a rebirth of Land Rover’s tough SUV.
From Nissan was a new Micra supermini, aiming to get back on track.
New Peugeot’s 3008 showed off a more rugged look and new technology, which would keep all competitors on their toes.
Skoda Kodiaq was amazingly eye catching. From the early days of Paris 2016, it grabbed the sensuality of car freaks without delay. This big Skoda SUV will definitely sit above the popular Yeti.
The Renault Trezor looked just extra-ordinary and most auto enthusiasts would wish to get it permanently home, for it was not only stunning, the Renault concept revealed new design themes that will keep one wondering for a very long time.
Volkswagen I.D. sure provided the troubled German company a way out of the woods, despites the entire emission saga. Anew compact electric concept, new ID looked capable of giving Volkswagen a brand new identity, which you are sure to love always.
And of course, the Mercedes Generation EQ, an excellently modelled, well built Mercedes launched into the world of trending electric car. Looking out-of-this-world, the new Mercedes’ creation is definitely an SUV concept with an outstanding look.
