Stallion – Nissan Launches First Virtual Showroom in Nigeria

Stallion NMN Ltd, Nigeria’s exclusive franchise distributor for Nissan, has recorded a history, setting up the brand’s first ever Virtual Showroom in Nigeria.

The development, which was announced by the Brand Head of Nissan, Mr. Amit Sharma, in a recent media chat, is aimed at making it easy for Nigerians to check out various Nissan vehicles as well as purchase their dream automobiles from the comfort of their homes or offices.

“Our decision to take Nissan Showroom to homes and offices,” he explained, “was necessitated by the prevailing condition, where a lot of customers do not want to step out of the comfort and the safety of their homes, offices and risk scouting different showrooms to look for cars of their dreams. The platform, therefore, enables customers to explore the cars without having to move from their safe havens.”

Nissan’s virtual showroom is accessible via a video call number or can be booked online through Nissan.ng or Stallionafricar.com, allowing a live chat, where an auto buyer or Nissan customer can know about the car or book for a video conference.

The marketing head for Stallion Group, Ms. Arpita Luthra further commented that “The virtual showroom provides for a two-way video call made steady with gadgets and gimbals easily accessible through WhatsApp video call, Zoom, Google Duo or Microsoft teams platform”.

She specified that “it is like talking to a sales consultant in person; there is a Nissan expert to take you through every small feature and element live.”

A customer can reach out to the sales consultant directly on numbers 08056369999 or 08035277777 specified for a direct video call between 9am and 5 pm on a week day for exploring the car of his or her choice. All he or she has to do is dial the number.

“In essence,” Ms Luthra stressed, “wherever you are, Nissan’s Virtual showroom enables you to explore the features and performance parameters with a Nissan car expert at your convenience. You can also book for test-drive of a Nissan of your choice. Or if you prefer to be contacted, all you need do is to leave your name and ID and the Nissan car expert will fix a virtual meeting at your convenience.”

It would be recalled that, following the outbreak of COVID-19 early this year and subsequent lockdowns, Stallion Group, like its counterparts in Europe, Asia and America, pioneered virtual automobile launch and indeed marketing and after sales services to keep connected with its customers and the nation’s automobile buyers.

Once the customer zeros down on the car via the Virtual experience guided by the Nissan Car Expert, a prospective buyer has a choice of booking a dream car online and getting the delivery from the nearest showroom.  Buying a Nissan is now truly simplified.
