ROTIMI ASHER

Red Star Express Plc has entered into a partnership agreement with Arik Air as its General Sales Agent (GSA).

The Chief Operating Officer, Red Star Freight, Mudiaga Okumagba stated this at the company’s headquarters in Lagos.

Okumagba said that the partnership is expected to enhance Red Star Express’ cargo movement across Nigeria from any location and at any time of the day.

He expressed delight with the agreement, saying that it would further boost the efficiency of its services to clients.

“We are happy with this yet another achievement in the GSA space. It is going to impact our efficiency and service delivery to our customers. Having an integrated approach like this would help improve our service deliveries across all our business units and subsidiaries,” he stated.

On his part, Mr. Adeyinka Adewumi, the Business Development and Freight Manager (GSA), said that Red Star Express being Arik Air’s exclusive cargo broker, was a considerable achievement.

“Even, though we started the GSA business only just recently, its growth has been unprecedented. We look forward to greater achievements,” he added.

According to him, Red Star Express has always wanted to play in this space, and said this partnership with the airline would make the desire come to past.
