Fire Razes Down Oando Tank Farm

A tank farm in the Oando Depot on Gaskiya Road, Ijora Badia area of Lagos State, was on Thursday razed down by fire.

The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident on telephone, said his agency had already deployed emergency responders to save the facility.

“Yes, I can confirm that there is a fire incident at the tank farm at Oando Depot in Ijora Badia,” Oke-Osanyintolu said, adding, “The agency has activated its emergency response plan and all relevant stakeholders have commenced appropriate measures to combat the flames and prevent secondary incidents.”
