[dropcap]F[/dropcap]or some time now, whenever I travel on a long journey and I am on a high speed, making for instance100 kilometres per hour, I can feel my car steering shaking. I wonder if my steering or suspensions are having problem. I need your advice. Thank you.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]hank you for your mail. We normally expect motorists to indicate their car brand, model as well as year of manufacture, when writing to us, as this enables us to offer more accurate advice regarding your motoring problem. Kindly do so next time.
Notwithstanding, the problem you explained is a common one. It is has got to do with wheel balancing. I advise that you immediately take the car to an auto-care centre, where computerized wheel balancing and alignment services are rendered. Once the wheel balancing is done, the shaking you experience on high speed should stop.
Depending on how long you have allowed the problem to persist, your tyres might have been affected. So prepare your mind. You might be advised to get new front tyres or even the entire four. If that happens to be the case, you would have no choice than to do so.
General Advice: Meanwhile, to avoid tyre problems and ensure longer lifespan for your new tyres, check your wheel alignment and balancing regularly and ensure your tyres are changed around for even wear. Be aware that won tyres result in reduced grip on the road. A quick check will tell you if your tyres are worn unevenly.
I also advise that as often as you do oil change, also get your tyres rotated and do wheel alignment at the same time. These actions will keep you safer on wheel and also safe your wallet.
