Festival of Motoring: Mercedes-Benz to Showcase EQ Range

Mercedes-Benz Cars South Africa this month officially launches its local EQ product offensive at the Festival of Motoring with the introduction of the all-new EQA sports SUV; EQB five/seven-seater family SUV; EQC midsize luxury SUV; and the EQS pioneering luxury saloon.

The new Mercedes-EQ range delivers Progressive Luxury, thrilling driving characteristics and smooth, powerful and efficient electric powertrains.

As revealed on Monday, in a media statement, MercedesBenz will, at its stand in the John Love Launch Area at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, offer visitors the opportunity to see the new EQ range in the metal.

“Product Experts from Mercedes-Benz,” it stated, “will be on hand to explain the models’ advanced features; demonstrate how easy it is to operate an EQ model; and take visitors through the myriad technological highlights.

“Interested in buying a Mercedes-EQ model? Mercedes-Benz Financial Services will debunk vehicle finance and explain various purchasing options. Looking for something smaller but no less stylish to take home? Don’t forget to pay a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Boutique, also in the John Love Area.

“Once visitors have finished poring over the EQ vehicles, they can head next door to the pit area and sign up for a track experience in the all-new EQA and EQC. Whip around Kyalami in the expert hands of an AMG Driving Academy Instructor as they demonstrate the dynamic capabilities of the EQ models.

“Too queasy for a quick lap but still want an exhilarating experience? Test your mettle in a racing simulator in the Mercedes-Benz pit area, or strike your best pose in our 360-degree camera before uploading your pics to social media.”
