Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL) joins other Toyota distributors and dealers alike globally in supporting Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, because it believes in tapping into the minds of children towards helping them realize their God-given talent and express it positively.
The Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL), Mr. Kunle Ade-Ojo, pointed this out during a media chat that followed the 2018 contest’s award of prize and certificate held at TNL’s corporate headquarters, Lekki on the 17th of March 2018.
Ade-Ojo, who revealed that TNL had been organizing the event in Nigeria for seven years, expressed his resolve to continue to support the initiative for as long as it remains relevant to TNL’s CSR objectives.
“Toyota (Nigeria) Limited,” Ade-Ojo explained, “believes in tapping into the minds of children towards helping them realize their God-given talent and express it positively,” adding that the platform will help build the confidence of these budding artists and future leaders in the creative world.
He said: “We have been doing this for about seven years now and we will continue to organize the contest annually as long as it remains relevant to our CSR objectives”.
Ade-Ojo, therefore, encouraged interested and concerned children to begin to practice “from now till the contest comes up in 2019 in order to increase their chances of winning in the keenly contested event.”
Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is, which debuted 12 years ago, is a CSR initiative of Toyota Motor Corporation Japan targeted at developing the innate artistic talent in children and cultivating an enduring relationship with them.
